The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Abia State has voiced strong disapproval of the state government’s policy requiring churches to pay taxes on their signposts. In a statement, CAN urged the government to revoke this policy promptly to prevent the administration from being perceived as hostile towards the church community.
